Recipe for Barbecue Grill Spicy Chicken Wings
Ingredients for Spicy Chicken Wings
Preparation: 10 minutes
Cooking: 20 minutes
Measurements are US
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup Italian-style salad dressing
3 pounds chicken wings, cut apart at joints and discard wing tips
1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1/4 cup hot pepper sauce e.g. Frank’s RedHot. Adjust to taste
1) Combine the 1/2 cup Soy Sauce, the Italian dressing and chicken wings in a large sealable bag. Seal the bag and shake throughly to coat the wings. Refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours and preferably overnight.
2) Preheat your outdoor grill to a medium heat. Melt the butter in a small suacepan. Stir in the teaspoon of soy sauce and the hot pepper sauce. Turn off heat and put to one side for later.
3) Remove the chicken wings from the marinade and dry them with kitchen towel. Cook the wings on the preheated grill, turning occasionally and until the chicken is well browned and no longer pink which should take 25 to 30 minutes. Whilst they may look cooked on the outside ensure they are cooked through.
4) Place grilled wings in a large bowl. Pour butter sauce over wings and toss them to coat them throughly.
